It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the X-Force movie, but that changes today as Vin Diesel has announced the project on his Facebook page. The film will be based on the Marvel comic book series and is set to be released in 2020.
Vin Diesel has announced that he is working on a new X-Force movie! The actor tweeted a picture of himself with the caption, “X-Force coming soon.” This will be the fifth X-Men movie, following the original trilogy (X-Men, X2: X-Men United, and X3: The Last Stand), Deadpool, and Logan. Diesel will play Cable in this film.
X-Force is an upcoming American superhero film based on the X-Men characters, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and published by Marvel Comics. The film is directed by James Mangold and written by Nick Spencer. It is intended to be the sixth installment in the X-Men film series, after 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse. The film stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Black Tom Cassidy, Josh Brolin as Cable, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Finn Jones as Cyclops, Oscar Isaac as Piotr Rasputin/The Winter Soldier, and Charlize Theron as Raven Darkholme/Mystique.
Vin Diesel has been confirmed to star in the X-Force movie. The actor is best known for his roles in the Fast and Furious and Riddick movies. Fox News reports that the X-Force movie is still in early development, but Diesel is already signed on to star.
The movie will be based off of Marvel’s comic book series of the same name. The series follows a team of super soldiers who are tasked with fighting against powerful enemies. Other cast members have not yet been announced, but it is expected that they will include Dafne Keen (Stranger Things), Charlie Cox ( Daredevil ), Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead), and Ewan McGregor (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones).
X-Force is one of Marvel’s most popular comic book series, so it is safe to say that there will be a lot of fan excitement when this movie finally comes out.
The release date for the Vin Diesel-led X-Force movie has been announced! The film will be released on October 6, 2020.
Vin Diesel has just announced that he will be bringing his popular X-Men spinoff series to the big screen.
